Having trouble installing starry night software on to my mac?

I’m having trouble installing starry night software on to my mac. I’m trying to install it from the cd. WHen I double click on any of the items from the file like the .exe or the .inf stuff, my adobe bridge tries to open it. I’ve had very little success installing stuf on my mac in the past. This computer was given to me. I know PCs well and love the “wizards” for installations. I don’t know how to turn off the bridge default, nor do I know which file in the folder to open. Is there anyone out there who has successfully installed starry night on their mac? Please let me know. Thanks.
Windows and Mac compatable is written right on the CD. It has several file types in the folder that pops up

.exe is pc software and cannot run directly on the mac. The only way you can install and run it on the mac is if you have an intel based mac with hard drive partitioned using BootCamp, Parallels or similar and a version of Windows installed.

Check out the system requirements on the CD, my guess is that it only has Windows requirements on there, so you need to look for a mac version if one exists, or go with the above option.

Additional Info: in that case but without knowing what exactly is on the disc, look for a dmg file, double click to launch installer. Or a folder that contains the icon of the program which you can drag straight to your Applications folder. Also check for a TextEdit document that may contain installation instructions. Any of these files will be in a separate folder to where you find the exe file.
