How do you get a Compaq Presario to accept periferal hardware?
My Compaq is about a year and a half old. It will not take peripheral software that is “supposed to be” Plug and Play. When I plug in a USB for Amazon Kindle, a Blackberry Curve, a Targus card reader, and a Sanyo VPC-FH1A Dual Camera, my computer asks for drivers to be installed. However NONE of these things come with drivers, and they all work on the Dell computer I use at work.
Is there any way to get a Compaq computer to actually work, or is it just junk?
If you can’t find the right drivers manually I would recommend just getting a software program that can do it for you.
